Customer Setup Guide

Welcome to BioAlign Pro! This guide walks you through setting up your edge server in about 15 minutes.

What You'll Need


Step 1: Power On & Connect

  1. Connect your edge server to power, a monitor, and your local network (Ethernet recommended)
  2. Wait 2-3 minutes for the system to boot
  3. Open a web browser on any device connected to the same network
  4. Navigate to https://your-server-ip/setup/
    • You'll see a certificate warning -- this is normal for local servers. Click "Advanced" and "Proceed"
    • If you don't know the IP, check your router's connected devices list

Step 2: Create Your Account

Fill in the registration form:

PasswordAt least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, and a number
OrganizationYour facility or business name
Facility NameName of this specific location
Facility IDA short identifier (e.g., "MAIN", "WEST-WING")
Edge IDA unique ID for this server (e.g., "edge-yourfacility-01")
Invite CodeIf you have one, enter it here to skip payment

You must read and accept all three legal agreements:

Click Register to create your account.


Step 3: Select Features

Choose which features to enable for your facility:

Select the features appropriate for your facility and click Save Features.


Step 4: Payment

If you used an invite code in Step 2, this step is skipped automatically.


Step 5: You're Done!

Your edge server is now provisioned and active. You'll see a success screen with:

Accessing Your Server

Adding Users

Staff / Admin Users

  1. Go to the Admin Dashboard
  2. Click Create New User
  3. Fill in name, date of birth, gender, email, password
  4. Set role to "Practitioner" or "Admin"

Residents

  1. Go to the Staff Dashboard
  2. Click Add New Resident
  3. Fill in name, date of birth, gender, room number
  4. Set a password for their app login

Running Assessments

FMS Screen (Functional Movement Screen)

  1. From the Staff Dashboard, find the resident
  2. Click Run FMS
  3. The resident performs 7 movement tests in front of the camera
  4. Each test is scored 0-3 automatically
  5. Results are saved and available in the resident's profile

On-Demand Gait Screen

  1. From the Staff Dashboard, find the resident
  2. Click Gait Analysis
  3. The resident walks in front of the camera
  4. Gait metrics (stride, speed, symmetry, joint angles) are recorded
  5. Results appear immediately

Generate Exercise Report

  1. From the Staff Dashboard, find the resident
  2. Click Generate Report
  3. Select therapy style, duration, and goals
  4. AI generates a personalized exercise program

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
Can't access setup wizardMake sure you're on the same network. Try http:// instead of https://
"Server not provisioned"Go to https://your-server-ip/setup/ to complete setup
Camera not workingEnsure you're using HTTPS (cameras require secure connection)
FMS scores seem wrongMake sure the resident's full body is visible to the camera
"License suspended"Contact support -- your subscription may need attention
